These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and dance class services. By enrolling or booking with Spotlight Steps Dance Club, you agree to the following terms.
1. Services
We provide children's dance classes, holiday dance camps and trial sessions as described on our website. Spotlight Steps Dance Club operates from The Spotlight Studio, Chelmsford, and Brentwood Community Hall, offering age-banded classes from Twinkle Toes (18 months) through to Show Squad (up to age 11).
2. Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made online. Payment is taken at the time of booking unless you choose our Monthly Membership, which auto-renews and can be cancelled at any time. Term places are pro-rated automatically if you join mid-term.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a class at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed classes, are non-refundable, though we will always try to offer a suitable make-up session where space allows.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Parents and carers must ensure accurate details are provided for each child, including age, medical information and emergency contacts, and must ensure children are collected promptly by an authorised adult at the end of each class.
5. Liability
We carry full liability insurance for accidental injury caused during classes and camps due to our negligence. All our teachers are DBS-checked, appropriately qualified, and a paediatric first-aider is present at every venue.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are unhappy with a class or camp, please notify us within 24 hours. We will do our best to resolve any issue, which may include a make-up class, credit, or partial refund at our discretion.
7. Use of Website
You must not misuse our website (e.g., hacking, spamming, or posting unlawful content). Booking accounts are for the registered family's use only.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website and take effect from the date of posting.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
